Hi, I’m Zoey.
Mother of six. Founder of Filí Forest in Costa Rica.
My life has been shaped by birth.
Not just becoming a mother, but the experience of birth itself — crossing that threshold again and again and discovering that it was far more powerful than I had ever been told.
Each birth peeled back another layer of conditioning.
Each one brought me closer to my body, my intuition, and the raw intelligence of life moving through us.
For a long time I thought I was already living outside the system.
I was freebirthing, raising my children differently, and trusting my instincts.
But there was still something deeper waiting for me to see.
That shift came with the birth of my fourth baby.
It was the moment everything changed.
That birth cracked something open in me and I saw clearly that birth is not just a physical event — it’s an initiation.
A portal that can wake a woman up to her power, her intuition, and the truth of who she is.
After that, there was no going back to the way I had been living before.
Birth led me to question everything — how we raise our children, how we live, what it really means to be free.
Today I live with my children on a piece of land in the jungle of Costa Rica where we are growing a fruit forest and creating a place devoted to remembering.
This land is called Filí Forest.
And the work I do with women grows from the same place my own journey began — through birth.
